- When you came, I was eating: Cuando tu llegaste, yo estaba comiendo

- She was dancing in the party: Ella estaba bailando en la fiesta.
- I was drinking milk: Yo estaba bebiendo leche.
* Oraciones negativas:
- I was not running yesterday: Yo no estaba corriendo ayer.
- She was not eating meat last week: Ella no estaba comiendo carne la semana pasada.
- He was not dancing in the party: El no estaba bailando en la fiesta.
- She was not drinking juice: Ella no estaba bebiendo jugo.
- We were not eating pizza yesterday: Ellos no estaban comiendo pizza ayer.
* Preguntas
- Was you mother cooking yesterday?: ¿Tu mamá estaba cocinando ayer?
- Were you friends playing soccer last week?: ¿Tus amigos estaban jugando fútbol ayer? Ejemplo de respuesta (Afirmativo: Yes, my friends was playing soccer last week/Negativo: Not, my friends was not playing soccer last week)
- Was she dancing yesterday?: ¿Ella estaba bailando ayer?
- Was he studying english weekend?: ¿El estaba estudiando inglés el fin de semana?

Recuerda que para formar oraciones en pasado progresivo esta es la fórmula:
(Subject: I, she, it, he) + was + verb + ing. Ejemplo: I was playing (Play + ing) soccer (Puedes agregar yesterday, last month, last week, weekend, etc)
(Subject: We, you) + were + verb + ing. Ejemplo: We were eating pizza yesterday
