Perseus, a semi-god from the Ancient Greece, in order to save his mother from sacrifice, started a journey to face the evil monster known as Medusa, in Gorgon Island. He was gifted with some gifts given by gods like Athena, Hades or Hermes, which would give him enhaced skills to face the monster easily.
He first looked for the three Gorgon Witches, stole their only eye they had and force them to reveal Medusa's location. They agreed to tell him but still he punishes them by throwing the eye into a lake.
In the battle against Medusa, Perseus uses the shield's reflect to see his enemy and fight her without looking her directly at the eyes, and that way, he would avoid to be turned into a stone statue. In the right moment, with a swift strike with his sword, he cuts her head and save it inside a holy bag given to him by the Nymphs, and took the way back home to free his mother.
