Reglas para los superlativos. 
*Los adjetivos que se convertirán en comparativos y que son SOLO de UNA silaba terminarán en "er". Por ejemplo COLD--COLDER
*Solo los adjetivos de 2 silabas que terminen en "Y" podrán terminar en "er" y se debe cambiar la"y" por "i". Por ejemplo: NOISY--Noisier 
*El resto de los adjetivos que sea de 2 o más silabas y que no termine en "y" los deberá de anteceder la palabra "MORE". Pe: BEAUTIFUL----MORE BEAUTIFUL 
*Los adjetivos que terminan con vocal seguida de una consonante duplican la consonante final antes de agregar las terminacion "er". Pe: BIG----BIGGER. 
*Recuerda que los comparativos "irregulares" cambian totalmente. Aquí tienes algunos: 
good >> better 
bad >> worse 
far >> farther / further 
*NOTA: todos y cada uno de los comparativos si importar su largo o terminaciones podran convertirse en Superlativos y viceversa.

Reglas para los Superlativos. 
Siempre se agrega "the" delante. Para formar el superlativo, se deben seguir las siguientes reglas: 

• Se agrega al adjetivo "est" o "st", si ya termina en "e". small - the smallest 

• Si la palabra termina en vocal + consonante, se duplica la consonante. big - the biggest 

• Si termina en "y" se cambia por "iest". happy - the happiest 

Cuando el adjetivo tiene más de tres sílabas, el superlativo se forma usando las palabras "the most" delante. expensive - the most expensive careful - the most careful 
Recuerda que los superlativos"irregulares" cambian totalmente. Aquí tienes algunos:
