Cusco is a beautiful and amazing place near the mountain range of Perú. In this place you can see archaeological buildings like Koricancha (the temple of the Sun), Sacsayhuamán and Ollantaytambo, and many nice landscapes with their typical animals like vicuñas, llamas, alpacas and huanacos.
You can also taste the gastronomy of Cusco, eating typical foods in the “chicherías” and “picanterías”. You can eat delicious foods like rabbit Pepian or the famous Olluquito, and also you can drink a delicious Frutillada which is like a “Chicha” or an authentic and refreshing “Cuzqueña beer”.
When you are in the fields you can hear the natural sounds, like the air sound, the animals sound, the trees sounds etc. All this sounds make you feel free and very good.
In Cusco you can do a lot of exciting things. You can visit churches, San Blas hand-made neighborhood, the main square and more. But the most interesting and incredible place is Machu Picchu because is one of the Seven Wonders of the World! Machu Picchu is a beautiful construction made of stones at the top of a mountain in the Urubamba valley. It has an interesting ecosystem with many unique species of animals and plants, for example beautiful flowers like “flor de Iris” and two hundred species of orchids. There are also “osos de anteojos”, “Montés cat” and 375 species of birds.
Other things that you can do are to do adventure sports like hiking, trekking or boating. You can also appreciate the typical festivals of Cusco that can be the Coyllur Riti, the Inti Raymi and the Easter Week. And that’s Cusco, the most beautiful place of Perú, the great, the exciting, the amazing Cusco.
