José Eloy Alfaro Delgado (Montecristi, Ecuador, June 25, 1842 - Quito, Ecuador, January 28, 1912) was President of the Republic of Ecuador twice in periods between 1897 to 1901 and 1906 to 1911, general of Division of the Army of Ecuador from 1895 and leader of the liberal Ecuadorian revolution (1895 - 1924).
