  do this

8 ÷ 4/5  under the eight put 1  
will stay you 8/1 ÷ 4/5
Multiply in x or asp,
 bone 8x5 = 40

This first 40 is the dividend or the number of the upper part of the fraction
 
Now the other that is 1x4 = 4
 And this 4 is the divisor or the number of the lower part of the fraction In the end this becomes 40/4 Which is equal to 40 ÷ 4 = 10
