El verbo to be se traduce como "ser o estar" existen tres verbos to be "am - is y are" y el pasado es "was y were" se usan de la siguiente manera:
I am - was
You are - were
He is - was
She is - was
It is - were
We are - were
They are- were
La estructura para formar oraciones con verbo to be en negativo es la siguiente:
Sujeto + verbo to be + not + complemento
1-. I wasn't driving fast.
2-.She isn't my sister
3-.They weren't in a party last night
4-.Mary and his friends aren't going to the movies
5-.He's not a bad student he just needs to study more
6-.Aren't you coming tonight?
