Quizás hoy más que nunca es importante para el artista reflexionar sobre estas cuestiones pues los elementos que la tecnología pone a su disposición en su actualidad específica, implican una gama de posibilidades que no sólo permiten potenciar la expresividad de las artes tradicionales, sino que además abren la posibilidad a nuevas formas de expresión del espíritu y la sensibilidad humana hasta ahora desconocidas.
En este ensayo se argumenta, en primer lugar, que la tecnología ha sido fundamental en la evolución de las formas de expresión de las artes clásicas, las cuales han evolucionado al ritmo del avance tecnológico de las civilizaciones. En segundo lugar, se argumenta que todas las disciplinas artísticas han nacido gracias a una base tecnológica mínima necesaria y esto es aplicable tanto a las expresiones clásicas como a las nuevas expresiones del tercer milenio. Y, finalmente, se argumenta que no sólo el nacimiento y la evolución del arte están ligados a la tecnología, sino también su difusión y la consecuente valoración por parte de una comunidad o del mundo entero.

Perhaps today more than ever it is important for the artist to reflect on these issues, since the elements that technology makes available to him in his specific current situation, imply a range of possibilities that not only allow to enhance the expressiveness of traditional arts, but also open the possibility of new forms of expression of the spirit and human sensitivity hitherto unknown.
In this essay it is argued, firstly, that technology has been fundamental in the evolution of the forms of expression of the classical arts, which have evolved at the pace of technological advancement of civilizations. Secondly, it is argued that all artistic disciplines were born thanks to a minimum necessary technological base and this is applicable to both classical expressions and new expressions of the third millennium. And, finally, it is argued that not only the birth and evolution of art are linked to technology, but also its dissemination and the consequent appreciation by a community or the entire world.
