Para una ecuacion de segundo grado de la forma ax²+bx+c=0 las soluciones son
x_{1,\:2}=\frac{-b\pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}

 x_{1} =\frac{-\left(-6\right)+\sqrt{\left(-6\right)^2-4\cdot \:1\left(-8\right)}}{2\cdot \:1}:\quad 3+\sqrt{17}

 x_{2} =\frac{-\left(-6\right)-\sqrt{\left(-6\right)^2-4\cdot \:1\left(-8\right)}}{2\cdot \:1}:\quad 3-\sqrt{17}

b)\:x\left(-1+x\right)=6
-x+x^2=6
 x^{2} -x-6=0
Factorizando:
(x-3)(x+2)=0
 x_{1} =3
 x_{2} =-2

c)\:7x^2=70x
7x^2-70x=0

x_{1,\:2}=\frac{-b\pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}

 x_{1} =\frac{-\left(-70\right)+\sqrt{\left(-70\right)^2-4\cdot \:7\cdot \:0}}{2\cdot \:7}:\quad 10

d)\:2\left(x+3\right)-x\left(2x+1\right)=5
\mathrm{Poner\:los\:parentesis\:utilizando}:\quad \:a\left(b+c\right)=ab+ac
2x+6-2x^{2}-x=5
-2x^{2}+x+6=5
-2x^{2}+x+1=0
Multiplicar -1 a ambos lados
2 x^{2} -x-1=0
Factorizando:
(x-1)(2x+1)=0

 x_{2} =- \frac{1}{2}

e)\:5\left(2x-1\right)+x\left(x-1\right)=5
