"Be going to" es similar a decir en español "ir a hacer algo".

Su estructura es la siguiente:

Oración afirmativa

Sujeto + verbo to be + going to + Verbo (en infinitivo) + complemento si es el caso.

Ex:

We + are + going to + present + our final exams tomorrow.

(Mañana vamos a presentar nuestros exámenes finales).

Ex:

Max is going to buy that car.

(Max va a comprar ese carro).

Oración negativa

Sujeto + verbo to be + not + going to + Verbo (en infinitivo) + complemento si es el caso.

Ex:

My parents + are + not + going to + travel + in the summer.

(Mis padres no van a viajar en el verano).

I’m not going to wash my hands.

(No voy a lavar mis manos).

Oración interrogativa

Verbo to be + sujeto + going to + Verbo (en infinitivo) + complemento si es el caso.

Ex:

Are + they + going to + swim + at the beach?

(¿Ellos van a nadar en la playa?).

Are you going to see me tomorrow?

(¿Vas a verme mañana?)
