Explicación:
Solo se pueden convertir al modo pasivo las oraciones que están construidas con un verbo transitivo que son los que tienen objeto directo.
En las oraciones activas con un verbo transitivo el sujeto ejerce la acción del verbo y el objeto directo recibe la acción del verbo.
Para transformar una oración activa en pasiva, el objeto directo se convierte en el sujeto pasivo que recibe la acción del verbo.
En inglés, se suele usar la forma pasiva cuando no se conoce o no se quiere indicar quien realiza la acción del verbo, porque se otorga más importancia a la acción que a quien la realiza. Por esto algunas veces no es obvio conocer quien o qué realiza la acción y es necesario inferirlo del contexto o expresarlo como "Someone" o "Something".
Tenemos que poner el objeto directo de la oración activa como sujeto de la oración pasiva (sujeto paciente) y luego usamos el verbo to be en el tiempo que concuerde con la oración activa.
Luego usamos el participio pasado del verbo principal de la oración activa y opcionalmente podemos añadir otros elementos de la oración activa como el sujeto, que aquí lo tenemos que preceder de la preposición "by" si es una persona o "for" si no. También los complementos circunstanciales que también lo serán en la oración pasiva, por ejemplo el lugar donde se desarrolla la acción del verbo.
