Un hotel dispone de habitaciones dobles y habitaciones sencillas en total son 50 habitaciones y 87 camas ¿Cuantas camas tiene cada tipo de habitaciones?

CAMAS EN LAS HABITACIONES DOBLES: 74

CAMAS EN LAS HABITACIONES SENCILLAS: 13

Explicación paso a paso:

habitaciones dobles: x

habitaciones sencillas: y

 x + y = 50 ⇒  x = 50 - y ....(ECUACIÓN 1)

2x + y = 87 ....(ECUACIÓN 2)

SUTITUYO LA ECUACIÓN 1 EN 2:

2x + y = 87

2(50 - y) + y = 87

100 - 2y + y = 87

-y = 87 - 100

-y = -13

 y = 13

REEMPLAZO EL VALOR DE Y EN LA ECUACIÓN 1:

X + Y = 50

X + 13 = 50

X = 50 - 13

X = 37

POR LO TANTO HAY:

CAMAS EN LAS HABITACIONES DOBLES:  37*2 = 74

CAMAS EN LAS HABITACIONES SENCILLAS: 13
