1.- I think that it is all a matter of practiscing their rutine. In this case  when they are under the water , they cannot listen to the musicbut since they have pacticed a lot  they know their routine.

2.- Yes , they do not touch the bottom of the poll beacuse it is  usually three meters deep  and their performance is at water level so that expectators can watch them performe.
