Por lo general las conditional clauses son oraciones que llevan "If." Hay cuatro tipo de condicionales el Zero conditional, first conditional, second conditional y third conditional.
Zero conditional: If you heat the water to 100 celsius degree, it boils.
First Conditional: If I see him, I will tell him to give you a call.
Second Conditional: If I found a golden coin, I would sell it and buy some new clothes.
Third Conditional: If I had studied harder, I would have pass the exam.

Ojo: El If puede ir al principio de la oración o a mitad de la misma. Si va a mitad de la misma no requiere que se coloque coma. Ejemplo. I would have passed the exam if I had studied harder.
En el third conditional por error en el tipeo escribí: "I would have pass the exam," siendo lo correcto: "I would have PASSED the exam." Ojo con eso, si no está mala la oración.
