El pasado progresivo es igual al futuro progesivo, solamente que en este se utiliza el verbo "to be" en pasado. Es decir, Was(para I,She,he, it) Were ( You,We y They)

Ejemplo: my mother was cooking a cake yesterday

Explicación:

I was taking photos in the morning yesterday

My friend( puede ser el nombre que quieras) and I were talking all night
