El presente continuo se utiliza cuando la acción está ocurriendo en el momento en el que se habla. 
Se forma con el verbo to be (conjugado) + V (con la terminación ING) 

Forma Afirmativa. 
     To be  +  V(ing) 
I       am     writing this sentence now. (Yo estoy escribiendo esta frase ahora)
You   are    reading this exercise. (Tú estás leyendo este ejercicio) 
She   is      singing a song now. (Ella está cantando una canción ahora)
