El segundo condicional es usado en el ingles para expresar suposiciones de situaciones que no han ocurrido en verdad y que es muy poco probable que lleguen a ocurrir. 
Se construye de la siguiente forma:

if + pasado simple (was/were) +  would/might/could + verbo en infinitivo
