Para formar oraciones es pasado progresivo se hace uso de Was / were + el verbo con terminación ing :
1.-My father was cooking dinner
(Mi padre estaba cocinando la cena)
2.- I was watching Tv until Nicolle called
( Yo estaba viendo Tv hasta que Nicolle llamó)
3.- They were singing in the Sara's partty
(Ellos estaban cantando en la fiesta de Sara)
4.- He was reading a book about dogs
(Él estaba leyendo un libro sobre perros)
5.- She was eating a big meal yesterday
(Ella estaba comiendo una gran comida ayer)
6.- They were watching cartoons
(Ellos estaban viendo caricaturas)
