UNA ELECCION CON TRAGICAS CONSECUENCIAS
Según el relato de Homero, la guerra de Troya comenzó a causa de una (pelea) que tuvieron (tres) (diosas) del Olimpo: Hera, Atenea y Afrodita.
Eride, la diosa de la discordia, había dejado como regalo para Hera, Atenea y a Afrodita una manzana de (oro) con una curiosa inscripción: “Para la “más” (hermosa) de las tres”.
Las diosas comenzaron a discutir (acaloradamente) sobre quien era la destinataria de “tan” (extraño) presente, pero, por supuesto, “no” lograron llegar a un acuerdo. “Entonces” le pidieron a Zeus que tomara la (difícil) decisión. El rey de los dioses sabía “muy” “bien” cuan (engreídas) y (rencorosas) eran las diosas, y por lo tanto, no quiso opinar.
Para desentenderse del problema, les sugirió que recurriesen al joven Paris, (príncipe) de Troya “muy” experimentado en romances con (bellas) mujeres. El muchacho sería el “más” capacitado para decidir y solucionar el entredicho.
“Como” aceptaron el consejo, las tres bajaron a la (tierra) con sus “mejores” sonrisas y entrevistaron a Paris. Las diosas no “solo” tenían (miedo) de no resultar favorecidas con el juicio del (muchacho), sino que, además, eran (“tramposas”). Por eso, cada una le ofreció “algo” distinto a cambio de ser la elegida.
Hera le prometió convertirlo en el (rey) del mundo. Atenea lo haría “tan” (inteligente) como Zeus. Afrodita le dijo que le entregaría a la mujer “más” (hermosa) del mundo: Helena, esposa de Menelao, rey de la ciudad griega de Esparta.
Sin dudarlo, parís eligió esta (última) propuesta, Afrodita, (loca) de (alegría) y mirando triunfalmente a las otras diosas, se llevó la (manzana.) A partir de ese momento, se convirtió en una (poderosa)( protectora) de quien la había (elegido).
En cambio, los gritos de Hera y de Atenea se oyeron por fuera del olimpo. Juraron (odio) eterno al (príncipe) que las había (despreciado), y su venganza fue terrible, “ya” que dio (origen) a la (larga) guerra de Troya, en la que participaron “tanto” dioses “como” mortales.
