Let charlotte= C (in order to dont writte so much)

if C can embroid a piece of (4*2)m in 4.5 hours, it means C can do 8square metters in 4.5 hours, so divide 8 by 4.5, =45/80->1.7777777.....

The problem ask to round to the nearest whole number, so C can embroid a meter per 2 hours.

the velocity is given by divide one whole meter in the time elapsed, in this case 1 meter is per 2 hours, since the problem says the average velocity in 1 hours, so its a half square meter in an hour
