IN ENGLISH, WE USE “BE GOING TO” TO TALK ABOUT FUTURE PLANS AND INTENTIONS.

We use the future BE GOING TO when we have the intention to do something before we speak. We have already made a decision before speaking.

We are going to read a newspaper.

Dad is going to take the train.

Going-to-future questions

Is Dad going to make dinner? Yes, he is (He´s).
