Pepe: I'm very sick!

Miguel: have you gone to the hospital? 
(has ido al hospital?) 
pepe: no, not yet. My appointment is tomorrow. 
(no, todavia no. Tengo cita mañana) 
Miguel: you should stay home and get some rest. 
(te debiste quedar en casa y tomar reposo) 
Pepe: I should have. But I had to come to school today to take a test. 
(si debì. pero tuve que venir a la escuela a presentar un examen) 
Miguel: What test did you have to take today? 
(que examen tuviste hoy?) 
Pepe: Math.

Miguel: How was it? 
(Como te fue?) 
Pepe: I don't know, I am too sick to concentrate. 
(no se, estoy muy enfermo para concentrarme)

(debiste decirle a tu maestra/o que te dejara presentarlo despues!) 
Pepe: could the teacher let me take it again? I missed too many questions! 
(podra la maestra/o dejarme presentarlo de nuevo? no complete muchas de las preguntas!) 
Miguel: Of course! Go talk to your teacher, it will be fine.
