Por qué es importante para los Estados modernos la integración del territorio?​

In 1998 we began a research project entitled The Integration of Territory in an Idea of State in order to understand the processes by which a territory, New Spain in our case, became into a State that we called Mexico. Two hundred years since the start of independence movements that led Spanish and Portuguese domains into independent countries this project has deepened its original meaning by encouraging interdisciplinary approach. It is an opportunity to make a balance of past goals and to seek new challenges that improve well-being and quality of life of its inhabitants.
