The chantilly cream is used to decorate, to fill up biscuits, as a companion to a dessert and many more uses.
While there are many variants for whipping cream, in this note we will see a classic and simple recipe.
Ingredients:
250 gr of cream of milk.
3 tablespoons of glass sugar (impalpable).
A few drops of vanilla essence or liquor (optional).
Preparation of the whipped cream classic
First of all, it is important to note that the cream should be cold, just like the elements to beat it, like the bowl and beaters.
The procedure is simple; Put the cream in a bowl and beat with electric mixer or hand, until a creamy, aerated and firm consistency.
This will take about 3 minutes (15 minutes by hand beating). Once this point is reached, add the sugar, while still beating, and then the essence to give it flavor and aroma, for about 2 or 3 minutes more (5 by hand).
The traditional recipe indicates vanilla essence, although you can use other essences, liqueur drinks or the like, if you wish.
It is important not to beat more than necessary since the cream could be cut.
Once finished, the whipped cream can be preserved for 6 months in the freezer, although at the moment of thawing it can lose its consistency.
