Comparative adjectives
Use the comparative form to show the difference between two objects or people.
• Adjectives with one syllable add -er.
Example:
Katherine is taller than Meylin.
• One syllable adjectives ending with COSONANT+VOWEL+ CONSONANT double the last consonant and add –er.
Example: x2 consonant
