You can only solve an equation with more than one variable if you have a minimum number of equations per variable.

In you need to solve for two variables, you will need a system equation composed of minimum two equations.

edward33: the principle is exactly the same as other equation... you just treat letters as numbers... for example a+x=b, solution x=b-a
