Michael Steven Buble was born in the city of Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, on September 9, 1975. His father is Lewis Buble, a salmon fisherman and his mother's name is Amber and she is of Italian nationality. He has two younger sisters Cyrstal and Brandee.
She has always wanted to be a singer and at the age of five she began to feel an interest in jazz music, while her family played the album White Christmas for Bing Crosby at Christmas time. Apart from music Michael was very fond of ice hockey and wanted to be a professional player for the "Vancouver Canucks", he liked to attend games and shared this taste for the sport with his father and grandfather.
Many years of his adolescence and youth, Michael spent them working, especially the summer seasons in which, alongside his father, he fished in his crew. He himself pointed out that this type of work has been the deadliest he has ever done and that working with men twice his age had taught him a lot about being a real man.
His first experiences as a singer were in nightclubs, when he was only 16 years old and it was his maternal grandfather, the Italian Demetrio Santaga, who facilitated them. This man was a plumber from a small town 20 kilometers from Venice and offered his plumbing services in exchange for time on stage for his grandson. His grandfather also paid for his singing lessons. For this reason and in gratitude, this young talent never fails to mention him in the many interviews and participations he has. His musical education is also due to one of his first teachers, the opera baritone Joseph Shore.
Michael had grown up listening to his grandfather's jazz collection and therefore considered him his best friend, since he would have been the one who opened up and taught him the world of music.
At age 18, Michael participated in a local talent show and won, but was later disqualified on the grounds that he was a minor. Later, he entered "Canadian Youth Talent Search" and won.
In 1996 he appeared in "Death Game" and in two episodes of "The X files" as an underwater sailor. His successes continued and a year later he would make his first appearance on national television participating in the Documentary Bravo. In 2000 Buble received two “Genie” Award nominations for two songs he wrote for the movie Here's to Life! He recorded three independent albums and at age 25 he moved from British Columbia to Toronto.
Since 2005 Buble has had dual Italian Canadian citizenship and in 2008 he became a co-owner of the “Vancouver Giants”. On February 12, 2009, Buble made a donation of $ 50,000 to all the victims of the wildfires that occurred in Victoria in February of that same year.
In November 2009, Buble got engaged in Argentina with his girlfriend Luisana Lopilato, she is an actress and model of Argentine nationality. For her, Michael wrote the single "Haven't Met You Yet" and Luisana was the model for the video.
On March 31, 2011 they were married in the city of Buenos Aires, where they continue to be successful.
