Any significa ningún / ninguna y se usa en oraciones negativas o interrogativas, pero el auxiliar debe estar en negativo.

Nota:
Si se usa el pronombre indefinido "nothing" como en el ejemplo 9, se usa there was puesto que en el ingles, no debes caer en la doble negación:
→ There was nothing on It ✓
No había nada en ella
X There was not nothing on it X
Es algo erróneo, pues niegas con was not y nothing.
