For years, it has stood out as a means of communication and entertainment, which, through the transmission of images and sounds at a distance by a receiver, has captured the public's attention to become an indispensable element.  

Today, most of the world is familiar with this artifact, but not everyone knows its origins and the evolutionary process that it had from its creation to today.

The origin of the television comes with the creation of the Nipkow disk in 1884, however, this type of mechanical system was soon discarded to give priority to fully electronic systems.  

In 1927, the electronic television was born from the hand of the young Philo Farnsworth, who decomposed an image into sixty lines of lights to transmit as electrons and recompose the original image on a screen.  

Evolution  

From its origins to the present, the television has undergone various changes to consolidate the models you know today, however it is still developing.  

Baird TV  

This model was created by John Logie Baird, but it was not totally electric, since it depended on a mechanical component.  

Black and white electronic television  

The size of the screen is increased and the box is reduced, this model was totally electronic and did not depend on mechanical components.  

At the end of the war conflict for the year 1948, a model goes on sale, during the economic recovery, which made this device become another household appliance for the world.  

RCA 21 TV  

This television model was invented in 1950, which made a significant change in the evolution of this appliance, which is more similar to the televisions that succeeded it and also has the bases that currently exist.  

Color television  

In the mid-1940s, the Mexican Guillermo González Camarena created a system for the transmission of color television, opting for a sequential trichromatic field, but it was not until 1960 that a revolution occurred by going from black and white transmissions to Colour.  

CRT TV  

The CRT television or cathode ray tubes improved its definition, changed the size of the screen and the resolution increased to a greater number of pixels for a present surface.  

Plasma TV  

Plasma television is a flat screen device that was somehow a large format that is between 37 to 80 inches.  

This model has many small cells, which are located between two glass panels that contain a mixture of noble gases.  

LCD television  

LCDs have illumination that uses fluorescent lamps, they are almost always located on the upper and lower edges of the screen to illuminate it completely.  

This television has liquid crystal that is part of the screen in which there are small dots called pixels, according to the electrical current that is applied.  

Led tv  

It is similar to LCDs, the difference is that they use an energy saver, in addition to having a more uniform light and therefore respects the environment.  

SMART TV  

Smart TV or smart TV is called all televisions that can be connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi or cable wireless connection, and has the ability to install or use applications that have been specifically designed for the TV.
