(-18 + 3x)/-3 = (14 - 4x) / -6

2(-18 + 3x) = 14 - 4x

-36 + 6x = 14 - 4x

6x + 4x = 14 + 36

10x = 50

x = 50/10

x = 5

4x - 6y =  14

4(5) - 6y = 14

20 - 6y = 14

-6y = 14 - 20

-6y = -6

y = -6/-6

y = 1
