Well from my studies on the feminine in folklore and mythology, I learned that there was a time in human beginnings where there was only the Goddess. As upper Mongolian and China’s (today's names of northern territories) male tribes took over the lower (Mesopotamia, Indian) Balkans, Egypt) goddess worshipping civilizations, it became known that the Mother Goddess or Creatrix created the male gods but she still held the supreme position. This could be why there has been so much resistance against women and the feminine energies especially from 3500 BCE up to today's complete erasure of the Goddess and the feminine (not just female) in most everything.
