Explicación:

The father of Huáscar Atahualpa died of smallpox without leaving a designated successor, in which the two sons were erected to dispute the throne, giving beginning to an Inca civil war.

While their troops marched toward the capital of the empire, the new Capac went to Cajamarca, before arriving to their destination, they suffered an ambush, being captured and disarmed by the Spaniards.

Already in Cajamarca, the conquerors urged the emperor to accept Christianity and the authority of King Carlos I, to which he refused. In response, hundreds of Spanish soldiers appeared, carrying out a massacre in the city square. The order was to kill all the Inca's guards but without wounding him, under penalty of death.

After the massacre, Atahualpa was taken prisoner,

The precarious situation of the Spaniards, fearing an Indian attack and ravaged by tropical diseases, lead historians to believe that the emperor's freedom was never an option. Although he promised to fill the room where he was with gold, silver and precious stones, on July 25, 1533, a trial began to judge him.

Accused of idolatry, heresy, polygamy, incest and treason, the emperor was baptized into Christianity under the name Francis and subsequently strangled on the morning of July 26.
