Se completan las oraciones con los verbos en present perfect o simple past:

  1. The bread's not ready. I haven't taken it out of the oven yet.
  2. I was going to have some chocolate, but you've already eaten it.
  3. Camila hasn't made any friends at her new school yet.
  4. This morning I gave both children $20, and they have already spent it.
  5. I'm hot and sweaty because I haven't already taken a shower yet.
  6. They built the new sports stadium, but they haven't opened it yet.

¿Cuándo se usa el present perfect?

Se utiliza cuando hablamos de acciones que empezaron en el pasado y continúan en el presente o que se han terminado recientemente. Para completar las oraciones afirmativas se debe usar el auxiliar del have (have/has) con la siguiente estructura:

Sujeto + have / has + pasado participio + complemento.

Al utilizar los adverbios “ever”, “already”, “just”, y “never” se debe recordar que van después de have/has y antes del participio pasado. En cambio “yet” siempre se coloca al final de la oración.
