Necesito una rutina en ingle en tiempo pasado es para un examen

Primero que todo una rutina siempre tiene que estar en presente ya que como es una rutina la realizas todos los días pero supongo que esta es una rutina que ya no se hace en el presente:


A few years ago i used to wake up at 6 in the morning because i had to practice for the swimming competition, i had breakfast at six thirty and then i used to take the bus to the pool, i used to swim for hours and hours without rest all the days, at noon i had lunch at my grandma's house after that i used to go to the gym from three to five in the afternoon and then i arrived home really tired so i used to take a bath before having dinner and after that i went to the bed to watch some tv and almost every time i fell asleep, but 2 months later i won the competition so i stopped doing that, that routine for like 3 moths left me so exhausted that i had to quit swimming.
