Monte Tabor Festival
One famous festival in my city is the Monte Tabor
festival. It celebrates the city main church foundation.
The festival takes place during the first weekend of
November. During the day, you can attend the
different religious services in the church, and at night
you can enjoy different events such as the Salvadorian
bingo, games for kids, traditional performances, and
concerts. It is a very lively events where you can enjoy
the different national dishes and drinks like pupusas,
atoles, panes rellenos, and so on. There are usually
fireworks which include "cohetes de vara' and "toritos
pintos". If you live in Ciudad Merliot, I invite you to join
the festival this year.
