Y = X² - 3X - 3: Para hallar los cortes hacemos X = 0 y Y = 0
Primero X = 0
Y = (0)² - 3(0) - 3: Y = -3
Para Y = 0
0 = X² - 3X - 3: Donde: a = 1; b = -3; c = - 3
![X=\frac{-b\pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a} X=\frac{-b\pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}](https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=X%3D%5Cfrac%7B-b%5Cpm+%5Csqrt%7Bb%5E2-4ac%7D%7D%7B2a%7D)
![X=\frac{-(-3)\pm \sqrt{(-3)^2-4(1)(-3)}}{2(1)} X=\frac{-(-3)\pm \sqrt{(-3)^2-4(1)(-3)}}{2(1)}](https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=X%3D%5Cfrac%7B-%28-3%29%5Cpm+%5Csqrt%7B%28-3%29%5E2-4%281%29%28-3%29%7D%7D%7B2%281%29%7D)
![X=\frac{3\pm \sqrt{9+12}}{2} X=\frac{3\pm \sqrt{9+12}}{2}](https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=X%3D%5Cfrac%7B3%5Cpm+%5Csqrt%7B9%2B12%7D%7D%7B2%7D)
![X=\frac{3\pm \sqrt{21}}{2} X=\frac{3\pm \sqrt{21}}{2}](https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=X%3D%5Cfrac%7B3%5Cpm+%5Csqrt%7B21%7D%7D%7B2%7D)
![X=\frac{3\pm 4.5825}{2} X=\frac{3\pm 4.5825}{2}](https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=X%3D%5Cfrac%7B3%5Cpm+4.5825%7D%7B2%7D)
X1 = [3 + 4.5825]/2 = 3.79125
X2 = [3 - 4.5825]/2 = -0.79125
Entonces para Y = 0 se presenta dos cortes en X = 3.79125 y X = -0.79125
Para X=0 (0,-3), Para Y = 0: (3.79125 , 0) y (-0.79125 , 0)
Te anexo una grafica de la situacion.
