Mi comida favorita son las papas fritas, y para hacerlas, primero se necesitan papas grandes, aceite y sal al gusto. Se necesita pelar las papas y cortarlas en tiras finas. Tratar que todas salgan parejas, más o menos del mismo tamaño. Sumergirlas en aguas para quitar el almidón y secarlas una vez estén listas. Calentar el aceite en una sartén grande sobre fuego medio-alto. Cuando esté caliente, agregar una parte de las papas y cocinar, moviendo de vez en cuando, hasta que las papitas estén doradas. Retirarlas del aceite con una espumadera y ponerlas en un plato cubierto con varias capas de servilletas de papel para que escurra el aceite. Sazonar las papitas con sal y repetir hasta que todas las papas estén fritas.

My favorite food is french fries, and to make them, you first need large potatoes, oil and salt to taste. You need to peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips. Try to all come out pairs, more or less the same size. Dip them in water to remove the starch and dry them once they're ready. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, add a part of the potatoes and cook, stirring occasionally, until the chips are golden brown. Remove them from the oil with a slotted spoon and put them on a plate covered with several layers of paper napkins to drain the oil. Season the chips with salt and repeat until all the potatoes are fried.
