Last summer, when I was in Brazil, I decided to go to a Rolling Stones concert. I wasn’t expecting too much because we all know that the Stones are not very young but it turned to be one of the greatest concerts I’ve ever been to. It all started with spectacular visuals on those super sized screens that were all about the Maracana stadium. It was just overwhelming but a unique experience. There was even a ceiling of screens and on them you could see 3D monsters images trying to reach the audience, it was very modern, high-tech and scary but fun. It continued with the band jamming a little while without the singer Mick Jagger, later, he appeared but he didn’t sing, he just danced for some minutes and the dancing was, as always, outstanding. It was just energizing, everybody stood up and started dancing on the seats. Then they played for about 4 hours non-stop, something pretty impressive coming from those old school rockers. Actually I think the drummer is in his mid 90’s.
In the middle of the show some guitar shaped balloons were released, and I got one, but somebody stole it, despite that I continued having a great time. What’s more, as I was very close to the stage Mick Jagger himself asked me to sing a song with him and I obviously accepted. It has been the craziest experience of my life.
All in all, going to that concert was the greatest thing of my Brazilian trip, I loved everything form the beginning to the spectacular high-tech close, and of course my singing with the band.
¡Espero y Te allá ayudado! ♥.
