I am writing to complain about an advertisement that you posted in the
Daily Planet. It said that the clothes in your shop were half price. I saw this
advertisement on Friday morning and suddenly / after a while, in the
afternoon, I decided to go to your shop. I expected to buy something for
half price. However / Although, I discovered that the information in the
advertisement was false.
I wanted a jacket, but/although the cashier told me that I had to buy two
items in order to receive the special offer. He also said that I would only get 50%
off one of the items - the other would be full price! Eventually/ As soon as
I heard this, I asked to speak to the manager, Ms James. - Although / However
I showed her the advertisement in the Daily Planet, she also refused to take 50%
off the jacket that I wanted. Instead, she suggested that I buy a second item for a
friend. I was furious and quickly left without buying anything.
Will you keep your promise and sell all the items in your shop at half price? If you
don't, I will write to the newspaper and ask them to remove the advertisement
because it gives false information.

afternoon, I decided to go to your shop. I expected to buy something for
half price. HOWEVER, I discovered that the information in the
advertisement was false.
I wanted a jacket, BUT the cashier told me that I had to buy two
items in order to receive the special offer. He also said that I would only get 50%
