RESUMEN En este trabajo se va a hacer una breve introducción del periodo paleoindio, originario del continente americano; a continuación se estudiaran las características de algunos de los yacimientos más importantes del continente de la etapa paleoindia. También se entrará en detalle en el arte de esta etapa, qué como en casi todas las culturas paleolíticas, desempeña un papel importante dentro de la vida diaria de esas personas. Para estudiar el arte se dan unas características generales y se estudiarán algunos ejemplos en profundidad para entender cuáles eran las formas de vida de la civilización que habitaba el continente americano hace 10.000 años. In this paper work there’s going to be a brief introduction about the paleoindian period, native from the American continent; right after we will study the characteristics of some of the most important sites of the American continent at the paleoindian age. We also are going to talk about the art in this period, which like in most cultures from the Paleolithic, the art played an important role in peoples live from that time. To study the art, there is going to be general characteristics and we will study some example in detail in order to understand what were the daily live and traditions of the civilization that inhabit the American continent 10,000 years ago.
