Yesterday while we were watching TV, a cat jumped through the window into the living room. 
We all saw it and my mother shouted frightened. We tried to catch it but it ran faster than us.  The cat meowed very much. when we were following it,  It broke a water glass that was on the table and also a curtain. What a disaster! My mother was calling a neighbor when finally the animal found the window again and went out. We all breathed in relief. 

Ayer mientras veíamos la tele, un gato entró por la ventana en el salón. Todos lo vimos y mi madre gritó asustada. Intentábamos cogerlo pero corría más que nosotros. El gato maullaba mucho. Cuando lo estábamos siguiendo rompió un vaso que  estaba encima de la mesa y también una cortina. Cuando mi madre estaba llamando a un vecino, el animal encontró la ventana otra vez y salió. Todos respiramos aliviados.
