Allan is telling his psychologist that he had been suspicious of some of his classmates, believing they were undermining his abilities. He said they were telling his instructors that he was "a weird guy" and that they did not want him as a lab partner. He is also having problems with his neighbor, who, according to Allan, was planning something against him, because of the way he constantly see him in the hall. 1. What personality disorder diagnosis would you give to Allan?

Allan has paranoid personality disorder (PPD). It is a group of conditions called eccentric personality disorders. People with PPD suffer from paranoia, an unrelenting mistrust and suspicion of others, even when there is no reason to be suspicious.
