The history of cinema began with the Egyptians, the Greeks and the Romans.
They showed the idea of movement through successive drawings. Over time, in Asia they began to play light and shadow games that consisted of projecting shadows on the white surface of a canvas by lights behind the spectators' backs. In turn, this invention inspired the creation of the "Magic Lantern" in the 17th century. An optical device that was based on a box that captured images from the outside and projected them inside and then worked in reverse.

Cinema or cinematography is the technology that reproduces frames quickly and successively creating the so-called "illusion of movement", that is, the visual perception that moving images are seen. The building or room where the films are shown is also called cinema.
