I remember that in second grade I had to give an exhibition. But before that, I had decided to go to the bathroom to relieve myself. All very well ... the bathroom was not crowded or anything like that ... until I looked down at the buttons on my skirt. At that age, and with an exposure that made me nervous, I did not remember how to button my skirt correctly.
I came out of the bathroom convinced that nothing would happen if I did not button it. My skirt would hold, I thought. A few minutes later I was already standing in front of the blackboard, in front of everyone, naming the parts of the plants ... stem, leaves, root ... In the middle of the exhibition I stiffened when I felt a tingling in my hip. Then it happened. My skirt slipped to the floor.
Shame clouded my vision, I couldn't even distinguish the faces of my friends, not to mention that for a few seconds my mind went blank. My dignity looked at me from a corner with folded arms with the phrase "I told you so" in his mouth.
I exhibited against my will and sat up quickly. Although my best friend tried to comfort me, I just wanted to disappear.
