Los comparativos se utilizan para demostrar las diferencia o similitudes entre dos objetos, los superlativos demuestran la máxima o menor cualidad de un objeto.
1. Velma is the shortest person in the gang but she is the most intelligent, too. Daphne is more fashionable and slimmer than Velma. She is also the wealthiest person in the "Mystery Inc." Shaggy is the tallest person in the team and he is also the the funniest one. Fred is braver and stronger than Shaggy.
2. Brutus is the biggest and the nastiest person in the group. Popeye is shorter than Brutus but he is the strongest man in town. Swee' pea is the youngest in the picture. Olive is thinner than Wimpy. He is fatter and lazier than Popeye.
3. Homer is the oldest person in the family while Maggie is the youngest. Lisa is smarter than Bart but he is funnier than she is. Bart is taller than his sisters. Marge is more intelligent than her husband.
4. Gomez Addams is more handsome than his brother Fester. Granny is uglier than Morticia and she is the oldest person the family. Lurch is stronger and taller than Gomez. Comparativos
- Adjetivo (er) + than
- more + adjetivo + than
Si el adjetivo es de una sílaba se le agrega el sufijo "er" en cambio si es de dos o más sílabas se coloca la palabra "more" antes del adjetivo.
Superlativos
- The + Adjetivo (est)
- The most + adjetivo
Al igual que en los comparativos si el adjetivo es de una silaba se le agrega el sufijo "est" en cambio si es de dos o más silabas se coloca las palabras "the most" antes del adjetivo.
