➜ Las condicionales de este tipo se usan para hablar de cosas que son siempre verdaderas, como hechos científicos, verdades generales o universales, etc.
➜ La conjunción if' (= si) puede sustituirse por when (= cuando) sin cambio de significado.
Ejemplos:
• Water boils if you heat it to 100 degrees.
➙ El agua hierve si se calienta a 100 grados.
• People die if they don't eat.

► FIRST CONDITIONAL SENTENCES
Las oraciones condicionales de este tipo tienen un verbo en presente simple después de if (= si) y un verbo en futuro simple en la proposición principal (= main clause).

• Main clause ➙ Future simple = will + infinitive of the verb
A veces pueden tener un verbo en modo imperativo (en vez de en futuro) en la oración principal;

➜ Estas oraciones condicionales se usan para hablar de cosas que pueden o podrían suceder en el futuro (posibilidades en el presente o en el futuro).
Ejemplos:
• If I am late, I will call you.

• If you rest, you will feel better.
➙ Si descansas, te sentirás mejor.
• If you are so tired, go home.
