Colon was Born in 1453. He used to help his father in their family farm. He also used to help his neighbors in milking the cows. Cristobal sometimes used to sell bread in his uncle´s bakery. He was a good boy. When he grew up he used to sail in the Mediterranean Sea. Then he went to live to Spain. There he met the Queen Isabel. She told him she wanted to help in his plans to go to far away lands. Colon used to ask for advice to his father. Then his father told him to sail. Finally Colon arrived to a new land. He discovered America, went there 3 times and finally died being very poor.
