TRADUCCIÓN

Completa las frases utilizando el pretérito perfecto y tus propias ideas.

1. Estaba nervioso(a) el primer día de clase de inglés porque me habían dicho que el/la maestro(a)/profesor(a) era muy estricto(a) y severo(a).

2. Empecé a estudiar inglés porque me había enamorado de un(a) chico(a) australiano(a).

3. Obtuve una buena nota en el proyecto porque había trabajado muy duro a lo largo de todo el semestre.

NOTA GRAMATICAL

PAST PERFECT

Para formar el past perfect se deben usar el auxiliar HAD (cualquiera sea el sujeto) y el participio pasado del verbo principal.  

Estas son todas las estructuras.  

➜ Past perfect - Affirmative:  

• Sujeto + auxiliar 'HAD' + PARTICIPIO PASADO del verbo + complementos  

➜ Past perfect - Negative:  

• Sujeto + auxiliar 'HAD' + 'NOT' + PARTICIPIO PASADO del verbo + complementos  

• Sujeto + contracción 'HADN'T' + PARTICIPIO PASADO del verbo + complementos  

➜ Past perfect - Interrogative:  

• Auxiliar 'HAD' + sujeto + PARTICIPIO PASADO del verbo + complementos + ?  

➜ Past perfect - Interrogative Negative:  

• Auxiliar 'HAD' + sujeto + 'NOT' + PARTICIPIO PASADO del verbo + complementos + ?  

• Contracción 'HADN'T' + sujeto + PARTICIPIO PASADO del verbo + complementos + ?  

NOTA:  

Si el verbo es regular, el participio pasado se forma añadiendo la terminación '-ed' al infinitivo del verbo. Si el verbo es irregular, debes aprender el participio pasado de memoria, o buscar la forma del participio (tercera columna) en esta tabla o en cualquier otra similar:  

• Verbos Regulares
