Respuesta:

They create hazardous waste for health and the environment that take hundreds of years to degrade, and nuclear accidents ruin vast regions.

Nuclear reactors have multiple threats such as earthquakes, floods, extreme weather events or aging, and the very management of the nuclear industry and accidents, for which we are not prepared.

Furthermore, many nuclear reactors are beyond the age of their design life. In Europe, there are 25 reactors with more than 35 years of operation. We are in a new era of nuclear risk.

Nuclear energy is polluting. It produces radioactive waste that remains active for hundreds of miles of years, without currently having options capable of demonstrating that it will remain isolated, and during which it must be stored and managed properly.

That is why we believe that it is an ethical obligation to close the nuclear plants to eliminate these dangers.
