→ w = mg = 2 kg * 9.8 m/s² = 19.6 N

For this problem u can use the Newtons Law:

F = ma

Being F, total force, so as the package rises, it means that the tension is bigger than the weight, then:

T - w = ma

Being our data, we have:

59 N - 19.6 N = 2 kg * a

Finally:

a = 19.7 m/s²
